Before you buy

Can I buy WoW Forever gold before launch?

Yes, on the beta. Sellers already stock gold on the beta mega-server, and that is exactly what the ladder lists. Gold for the live game goes on sale once Forever opens on November 4, 2026.

Does beta gold carry over to launch?

No. Beta characters are reset when Forever launches, and their gold goes with them. Buy beta gold to play the beta, not to bank it for November.

Why is it priced per coin and not per 1,000?

Forever runs on the original game's economy. One gold coin there buys what a thousand buy in the modern game: riding training is priced in the hundreds, not the hundreds of thousands.

Can Horde and Alliance swap gold?

No. Mail and the trade window work inside one faction only, so buy on the side your character plays. The ladder shows the faction on every line for that reason.

Who delivers the gold?

The seller does. We rank their offers and send you to them; the order, the payment and the delivery all happen on their side.
